The glass on basketball backboards was the inspiration for the transparent quarter on this latest version of our classic basketball shoe. They bear, of course, the signature of Ralph Sampson, a basketball Hall-of-Famer who wore the original version of these shoes. And now these icons of the court have become icons of the street.
